"Tilted lighting fixtures that are tailored to the underwater dining space."

Background

Italian fashion brand LUBIAM is no stranger to quality and excellence in design. Now, the company has partnered with Signify to bring sustainable and stylish lighting to its stand at Pitti Immagine Uomo in Florence, as well as its retail location in MantovaLubiam Shopping.

Lubiam is a high-end men's fashion retailer, founded in 2011 and now in its fourth generation as a family business. The company has made strides in reducing its environmental impact and sees Signify's eco-friendly products as a strong part of its commitment.

Signify provided 3D-printed lighting fixtures from the Philips MyCreation line. These fixtures are designed to highlight clothing details with quality lighting while promoting sustainability.

We were looking for an innovative lighting solution that was not only elegant and stylish, but also efficient and green, in line with our sustainability goals. Signify's 3D-printed fixtures proved to be the ideal solution in every way, enhancing the displayed clothing thanks to the high-quality of the emitted light, which allows us to distinguish and perceive every detail." Solution

During the preparation for the January 2024 edition of Pitti Uomo, Signify provided LUBIAM with 3D-printed Signify myCreation Accent Track rail projectors and Signify myCreation Grand Series suspension fixtures. The golden color and texture of the fixture were chosen to match the aesthetics of the stand and enhance the design of the furniture in the center of the space on which it was suspended.

Following this successful first experience, LUBIAM renewed its partnership with Signify, choosing the Philips MyCreation Grand Series suspension fixture again for the June edition of the event. At the Mantova retail location, further Philips MyCreation Accent Track rail projectors were selected.

As a result of the upgrade, LUBIAN expects to achieve energy savings of more than 50%. Additionally, these fixtures are made of at least 55% recycled materials and can be reused to produce new fixtures with lighting characteristics equal to or even superior to the original ones at the end of their extended life cycle.
